The network encourages cooperation, based on reciprocity and convergence of interests between Italy and Vietnam. Cooperation is made concrete with joint actions such as development and research projects, Doctoral courses, student and lecturer mobility, summer internships, summer courses and workshops, guaranteeing an organized and precise context, premise for a steady development in the long term.
For the period between 2003- 2006 Vietnet received co-funding from MAE which supported the first 10+4 mobility projects (lecturers plus researchers) in the fields of economics, engineering and medicine. It also supported the creation of a workshop in Hanoi: “First Vietnamese-Italian, International Joint Workshop on photonics and nanotechnology”.
